Re: Cease and Desist for Patent
Infringement - U.S. Patent No. 10,958,961 B2 and U.S. Patent No. 10,205,986
B2
Dear AutoZone Inc.,
I am writing to you regarding your
infringement on my patented inventions, U.S. Patent No. 10,958,961 B2 and
U.S. Patent No. 10,205,986 B2. As a current employee of AutoZone at your
store in Las Vegas, NV, I have recently discovered that AutoZone is selling
my patented invention without my permission, and I have not received any
revenue or royalties from the sales of this invention on your store shelves.
I have photographic evidence of the patented invention, a camera,
sitting on the store shelf at AutoZone as proof of the infringement. It has
come to my attention that AutoZone is streaming live video from this camera
to an app that has a web page, and is collecting money from customers for
this service, which directly infringes on the claims of my patented
inventions related to live streaming video technology.
As a result, I
demand that AutoZone immediately cease and desist from selling, using, or
otherwise infringing upon my patented inventions, U.S. Patent No. 10,958,961
B2 and U.S. Patent No. 10,205,986 B2. I am entitled to three percent (3%) of
AutoZone's annual gross revenue as compensation for the unauthorized use of
my patented inventions, or I am open to discussing a settlement offer for a
developer's license.
Furthermore, I request that all end users who
are currently using the patented invention purchased from AutoZone be
required to obtain an end-user license from my company, TV Knows You.com,
Inc., at https://tvknowsyou.com, for a fee of $99.00 per year. Once a
settlement is reached with TV Knows You.com, Inc. and its CEO, Gabriel De La
Vega Jr., I may consider waiving the requirement for end-user licenses for
AutoZone customers using my patented software invention.
I expect
prompt and serious attention to this matter. Please contact me immediately
at 702-592-5939 or via email at ceo@tvknowsyou.com to discuss this issue and
reach a resolution. Failure to comply with this cease and desist letter will
result in further legal action to protect my patented inventions.
