It has come to our attention that you have been
streaming live content for free on your website, ABCNews.go.com/Live, while
using our patented technology without a valid license. We have observed that
during commercial breaks or when reporters go on a break, advertisements are
being shown. This means that ABC News is making money from the streaming
content, and yet no licensing fees have been paid to our company, TV Knows
You.com, Inc.
We demand that ABC News immediately cease and desist
from using our patented technology without a valid license. We require that
you purchase a developer's license by contacting Gabriel De La Vega Jr., the
CEO of TV Knows You.com, Inc., at ceo@tvknowsyou.com or by calling
702-592-5939. The patents that are being infringed upon are US 10,958,961 B2
and US 10,205,986 B2, and the cost for a developer's license is three
percent of ABC News' annual gross revenue.
Additionally, all
reporters who are live streaming content on your platform need to purchase
an end-user license, which is available for purchase at
https://tvknowsyou.com for only $99.00 per year. This license is universal
and can be used on any live streaming platform around the world.
Please be advised that failure to comply with this cease and desist letter
may result in legal action, including but not limited to injunctive relief,
damages, and attorney's fees.
We hope that ABC News will take
immediate action to rectify this situation and become compliant with our
patent licensing requirements. Thank you for your prompt attention to this
matter.
